YOUTH CAMP 2006 has just came to an end. that spells an end to my programmer identity too. i must say being in the committee is hardwork. sleep late. wake up early. debrief. debrief. debrief. it is hardwork definitely. but looking at the campers enjoying themselves. having fun with everyone just gives me the energy to push on through the next day. looking at the smiles of the campers. looking at the campers compete during the outdoor games just gives me the sense of achievement. satisfaction.

reflecting on the youth camp this year. i enjoyed myself thoroughly. but the enjoyment i got from this year's youth camp and last year's youth camp is different. probably because last year, i came as a camper. but this year, im in the planning. really had fun in the camp. bought gifts and wrote notes. laughing at the skits of the different groups. haha. jokes.

read from the papers yesterday about an 8-years-old boy having the the disease known as Severe Combined Immunodeficiency (SCID) aka "Bubble Boy" disease. its a disease whereby the bone marrow cannot produce white blood cell, causing the bearer to not have an immune system. it so saddening looking at the little boy on the papers. he is so skinny as he cant take in nutrients through food properly. he also contracted this skin problem and as a result, his skin is peeling. looking at him, i really pity him. he is 8, but he is deprived of what a normal 8-years-old would be doing. go to school. play at the playground. he always pleads to his mum to bring him out and let him go to school, but he himself knows that it is impossible.

looking at this report, it shows us the cruelty of the world. realty is hard to swallow. look at the boy. he has done nothing wrong. he is just another baby boy being born into this world. yet he is dealt with this punishment. hais. the world is unfathomable. if you are thinking that this sort of things would not happen to your child.. think again..

alright. Trinity has started. damn tired. got school. got trinity. den somemore not enough sleep. but its okay. i will pull thru!! lol. just hope that i would be able to do a good job and write good lyrics out. hope that my writing would be good. nevermind if my lyrics doesnt win anithin. its the esperience that counts. =)

school. school. school. interesting yet boring. im just glad that till now. im still able to cope with the schoolwork. its not a surprise lah. considering that i DONT revise at home. haha. but after Trinity. i would make myself study at home. im seriously weak in my maths. i need some help man!! but luckily now its only the starting. hope i would be able to catch up. all the best to myself...

chose my song for the Trinity Competition. have to write lyrics for the song within one week. phew. its going to be a long week man. i will do my best, dats for sure. the song is nice. deres oso lyrics to it already. the song plus the lyrics, wah, damn nice. so i seriously doesnt noe how to add another set of lyrics in dat will sound better then the original. hais. well. im not trained in lyrics-writing anyway. i will just take this competition as a gauge to see how far i can go. haha. okay. gotta slp. bye.

- - went to the lee wei song concert today. woah. it was a blast man! its damn nice lah! all the singing was fantastic!! how i wish i was half as good as them. hais. problem. duno how den can improve sia. duno how den can make myself get all the singing techniques rite sia. hais.

anw. back to the concert. as i said, it was very nice. the sound system was great. the atmosphere was great. the singing was great. everything was perfect!! haha. it was well-planned. everything went smoothly. even the MC script was so funny!! enjoyed the concert alot. serious. although i have never been to a concert before. but i tink this concert can be counted as one well done. **thumbs up**

ohh Lord. thank you. thank you for everything. for this bunch of friends. for the soccer competition that bonds us together. its still not too late. we still could make things happen together. although Frederick is going to the army soon. i pray that You would give him protection and bless him. we had a fun match together. these memories will be etched in me forever.

i wouldnt be able to forget everything that happened on 14th October 2006. we met our target of reaching the semi-finals. we met our objective that we wouldnt scold any vulgarities. passion. frustration. anger. all is showed on that very day. everyone of us brought the game to our opponents. we did all we could. to be able to reach that far. im proud. im proud of everyone in the team. including Mr Yam, Celine, Catherine. they supported us throughout. thank you for Celine. for standind firm for 5th coy in times of troubles. thank you for Catherine. for coming down to support 5th coy play although she may not know us very well. thank you for Mr Yam. taking the trouble to accompany us down to support us and take care of us. grateful.

all is left on the pitch when we left that day. the frustration. the anger. although we are not the champions. we are not losers too. at least we can say to the world. we did it. we met our objectives and got what we deserve fair and square. we did our best. we give our all. by Your grace Lord. we achieved. the bonding we had through these games cant be bought. thank you Lord for Frederick again. he has taught us alot. slow to anger. determination. big-heartedness. im glad that i played. i have no regrets. i have learned alot. i am forever gratefull to this bunch of friends, mentors, brothers and sisters in Christ.

i believe through these matches. we all have grown. we step out standing tall and peaceful. knowing we have glorify Your name through soccer. knowing that nothing is impossible if we really try. we tried. although we didnt go to the finals. in our hearts. we would always be

phew! finally finish le. haha. work work. just finish a project today. a project that lasted 3 days. that means 3 days. i have to wake up at 5plus in the morning. yawnZ!! haha. but it was okay lah. the work. quite slack. cuz all i nid to do is just to help speakers fix up their mics and also be a mic runner. who nid mic den i go there lor. not very tough lah.

the project is held in Art House. know where or not. its the Parliament House. until 1999 that is. haha. sat at LEE KUAN YEW's seat sia. wahahah. song bo!! saw a few familiar names. Toh Chin Chye. S Rajaratnam. Goh Keng Swee. its so history. haha. the place is nice. the place where ministers discuss and debate while the president looks on. haha. although the place where the presidents sits is gone.

after so many years of usage. its still in VERY GOOD condition. serious. everything looks so new. so we must be extra careful inside. haha. its an eye opener lah. never go before what. haha. interesting place.

yesterday was a killer. first day of work at my uncle's company. start work at 9am. end at 11pm. killer rite!! lol. damn tired sia. dats why yesterday didnt blog. too tired le. reach home like zombie like dat. eat a mooncake den go to bed le. didnt even eat dinner. yup. we went to this place called China Club in Capitol Tower. its an exclusive club i tink. must book wan. its on the 52nd storey. scary sia. take lift go up ear will kena block wan. lol. the place is damn nice lah. all the lightings. their spoon and fork somemore got pattern wan leh. haha. yup. finisha setting up the whole place with mics, speakers, sound system, projector, banner, screen, backdrop, wires, cables etc. although it is a very small place ar. its still difficult to set up.

today. went straight to China Club. reach dere at 6.30am? waited for them to open up and everything. den do touch-up. those things that haven set up we do. taping of wires. final mic check and sound check. all done. den me and my colleague went outside the room and rest. or sleep. lol. the thing started at 8am. end at 10am.

after that do packing. haha. easy job. compare to set up. this is so much easier. haha. very quickly. finish up everything. brought everything back to office. den slacking time liao. lol. sleep. sleep. sleep. tired mah. den came home at arnd 5plus? yup. rest.

this job makes me realise. church sound system is really very easy. compared to what my uncle is doing. its chicken feat. its so easy. just on a few system. puch a few buttons. done! church wan is very very very small. haha. now i realise the hardwork. and to think dat my uncle's company is small. i heard one of my colleague who is a freelance say that another company that he is working for is running a show that last for almost a month. dats hardwork man. no sleep. they can be branded with the name "SUPERMAN". maybe they are even more superior to the actual Superman sia. they dont even need to sleep. yesterday when my uncle saw me yawning, a conversation started:

uncle: " tired ar? "
me: *nodnod*
uncle: " humans no need sleep want lah! sleeping is just closing your eyes! no big deal! "

thats what people in this business do. they dont sleep. but the cash just keeps coming in..

din go to church todae cuz couldn't wake up. opps.! :x haha. cuz last nite stayed up to study lah. den before that still got kayaking. kena drained. ha. okok. more abt todae. so i woke up late rite. but still must go church cuz got meeting. den after meeting its soccer time!! had a testimonial match todae fer MERRIL cuz he is leaving singapore fer taiwan!! erm. tink its some NS thingy. yup. all the best man. haha.

actuali i was quite surprised. i kinda feel that i got improve abit sia. although honestly. its been quite long since i played soccer. except last week's street soccer. but still. haha. was quite happy lah. my drbbling improved. my passing improved. even my ball control oso haf. abit lah. all abit. but den my speed like go down le. not as fast le. my stamina oso. hais. its ok lah. at least i got some positive out of this match. haha.

after soccer den went to eat den come back le. wahh. damn tired lah. i duno whether i still got the energy to revise or not. well. tink have to force myself lah. tml supp paper lor. sian. nvm. after tml den i can really relax le. wonderful!!

leaving the house. i went to meet with my LWS classmate. den go eat. den go lesson. todae JJ is not free again. cuz tml got the singapore idol final. den he must go fer rehearsal. dats why. haha. so nichole lao shi take over. anw. i realised we had alot of teachers teach us before le. haha. okok. lemme count. erm. Angela. JJ. Bang Niang. Huan Cheng. Nichole. hmmmmm. dats quite alot le. considering that LWS dun realli have alot of teachers. haha.

todays lesson was quite interesting and i must say, quite fruitful. we practise our breathing. practise our bubbling. yup. and we realise that next week is test already!! die.

after that went for a car wash. and then it was back home. it was jamming. as usual. but the unusual thing is. when we finally reached singapore. we saw a more serious jam over the other side; which is the way to go INTO malaysia. WTH. so late already leh. still got so many people going in. crazy. duno they go there for what. anw. gotta go sleep le. or else tomorrow wont be able to wake up again. hais.

hmm. din reali do much todae. went out just now to meet hazel to discuss about youth camp stuff. haha. finished everything within. one hour? very fast. chop chop. den went Carl's Jr. haha. at least i can sae im bloated todae. yup. den after that went to look around fer angela lao shi's jacket. haha. feel so weird calling her dat. anw. cant reali find anithin that suits her leh. like i cant even find a nice jacket or sweater in plaza sing lor. sian. singapore reali has a limited range of products. like in one nike shop. i can only find. 5 different types of jackets/sweaters? and thats men and women combine. -.-"

went back to school today. looking at the school. it makes me feel warm. the place that i studied in fer more den half a year. the greenery. the buildings. the lecture theatres. bet i would miss all these if my application to Ngee Ann Poly's Film, Sound, Video is successful. i wonder whether it is the right choice or not. im wasting one year after all. and most importantly, theres NO Sub Paper in NP!!! but den again, if i am able to change to NP, i would be doin something i like. not some course that i have no choice but to do it. doin something i like will motivate me and push me forward.

actuali TP is quite a nice place to study in. nice environment. nice food. nice girls(although that has not been confirmed. hee.)

nevertheless, i still hope my application would go thru. realli hope so.. =)
